January 2005

A nice little ice storm rolls through Atlanta, Ga and covers my graduation present in a nice protective sheet of ice. The ice was pretty thick and I had to wait for it to thaw before I attempted to open the doors since the windows automatically drop 3/8" when the doors open. That would be an expensive fix on a new car!

This is a gallery of pictures that I took during the Christmas holidays. We had such a pretty tree this year, even if I did get sick putting it up after Thanksgiving. Next year I will try to stay calm so my appendix doesn't try to burst. Guess I shouldn't have eaten so much turkey. Oh well, its my favorite holiday for food and it only happens once a year so I gotta make it count.

We FINALLY took some time and went to see the Georgia Aquarium. What a fascinating place this truly is. I took lots of pictures of everything I saw. These are some of the ones that I liked or I thought were good enough to show off. Some of the areas were really dark and hard to get a sharp picture. It was a lot of fun though.

Well this is the first year since 2005 that we have seen any existence of snow in Atlanta, Ga. It snowed about 1/4" to 1/2" but then it was gone before the next morning because it wasn't cold enough to stick. It was still nice to have some fun with snowballs and snowmen.

Whats the best vacation that you can have without spending a lot of money? I'll tell you for us it was visiting my grandparents in the North Georgia mountains. They have great weather, good food, and just a relaxing atmosphere. Also its a real joy to spend time with the grandparents without the rest of the family around. Enjoy this album because we had lots of fun playing dominos.

March 2008

We had a really good time celebrating Uncle Raymond and Aunt Linia's 50th wedding anniversary. I took lots of pictures and just enjoyed getting to see everyone for this special occasion.

April 2008

Well I finally got some time to get the new puppy to settle and have her picture taken with Tommy. I got some really great pictures out of this and am pleased with how they came out. I like sharing these pictures because everyone thinks pitbulls are so mean and these pictures are the complete opposite.

April 2008

Mom, Dad, and myself went up to the mountains to visit Mammaw and Grandaddy for Grandaddy's birthday. These are just some of the candid shots from that visit. There are also some good hummingbird pictures in here. The first hummingbirds of the season started coming out that weekend.
